Submarine Force Library and Museum

This weekend, I headed down to Groton, CT to see their submarine base and the USS Nautilus museum. It actually had five submarines, including the Nautilus, X-1, a Japanese midget submarine, and a replica of the Turtle. 

It was a great trip, well worth the drive, and I would recommend it to anyone who is even remotely interested.

My ROV: Part 1

This is my homebuilt ROV, remotely-operated vehicle, that I am in the process of building. As you can see, I already have the framework done, made from CPVC pipes that I got from Ace Hardware.
